Do you ever just need a break from the grind of everyday life?
One of the best ways to clear your head and get some perspective is to get out into nature. There’s something incredibly special about getting outside of the city limits, into the quiet chaos of the outdoors. No one loves the outdoors more than the people behind Redding Sportsman’s Expo and there’s no better event in town to reignite excitement and inspiration to get outside again. Here’s what you need to know:
Where?
Every year the Redding Sportsman’s Expo is held at the Redding Civic Auditorium.
When?
The event takes place on Saturday, April 7th from 9-6 and Sunday, April 8th from 9-4.
How Much Is It?
As crazy as it sounds, the event is only a $5 admission fee at the door and children under 12 get in for free!
What Will Be There?
The event takes place with most of the 125+ vendors on the main floor of the auditorium. There are also specific events and exhibitions in separate rooms throughout the Civic. On top of all that, there are a number of popups on the front lawn area including Archery Tag, a climbing wall and a massive zip-line. There are numerous gear popups as well as food vendors, and a beer garden.
Some of the intimidating aspects of getting out into nature are not having the right gear, not knowing the right people to get outside with, and not having the knowledge to rough it out in the wild. The Redding Sportsman’s Expo is the perfect place to get your start as badass, adventurer. Not only will you have a great time eating delicious food and drinking beer, but you will also be given the chance to connect with hundreds of people who share your love and enthusiasm for nature. This is the perfect spot to gear up before a summer filled with adventures.
